TL;DR
- Lower Skill Requirements for Command Processors to Warfare Specialization 4
- Change Specialization Bonus on Field Commands from 3%/level to 15%/level that does not stack with mindlinks
- Allow Gang Mods to be operated while in Warp
- Give Assault Frigates Role Bonus to Fitting Gang mods with end result of 5 CPU and 1 PG or similar, limit mod production to squad level
- Make sure All Battlecruisers, Assault Frigates, and Command ships have 1 spare high slot for a gang mod
- Change Role Bonuses on Caldari and Gallente Battlecruisers/Command ships to end with fitting of 50 CPU/1 PG.
- Change Role Bonuses on Amarr and Minmitar Battlecruisers/Command ships to end with fitting of 1 CPU/200 PG
- Reduce Fitting of Command Processors by at least half
- Change Skirmish Warfare: Rapid Deployment from +3% MWD/AB speed to -2% Mass
- Change Armored Warfare: Rapid Repair from -2% cylce time to +3% Repair Amount
- Change Siege Warfare: Active Shielding from -2% cycle time to +3% Boost Amount
- Change Information Warfare: Electronic Superiority from +1.2% Sensor Damper/Tracking disruptor strength to +3% Sensor Damper/Tracking Disruptor Strength
Thank you for taking time into the thinking and making of this post, and even trying to introduce a proper role for assault ships, much appreciated. I do however not agree with all your suggestions, so heres my feedback;
-I agree with the command processors completely, reduce skill requirements.
-While 3% bonus on fleet commands does seem petty, 15% is way too high. I'd say 5%.
-Yes, allow them to operate in warp please.
-I don't really agree with this to be honest. My reason being something so small can do quite a lot. I think gang bonus's should stick to bigger ships.
-Currently all have a high slot spare, apart from the Brutix/Astarte as far as I know.
-Fitting bonus changes seem fair.
-Yes command processors need to be looked at.
-Skirmish links are fine as they are.
-Yes to the boost/rep ammount but only 2%. 3% is too high.
-Information Warfare - to be honest need a complete rethink. Complete overhaul on what bonuses they should give.
Overall its a thread to hopefully start off CCP changing gang mods for the better.
